OneNeck, a national IT Solutions provider, has an exciting opportunity on our Business Applications team for a creative and driven Application Developer.  We are seeking a detail-oriented, team player who can collaboratively design and create solutions; bridging requirements with best practices.

We are open to filling this position REMOTELY in the states in which TDS Inc. operates -OR- in a hybrid work model in any of our physical office locations: Scottsdale, AZ; Denver, CO; Urbandale, IA; Eden Prairie, MN; Madison, WI; or Omaha, NE. 

The Application Developer I is a technical resource responsible for the development and maintenance surrounding OneNeck’s Business Application systems.  This position will also assist with escalations and troubleshooting of system issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and maintain applications.
• Take design specifications and complete projects with consistent quality.
• Work to resolve reported issues, log all relevant incident details, seek resolution and escalate when necessary.
• Keep up to date skills in development technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience
• 2+ years software development experience in information technology systems that support critical business applications
• Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations

Other Qualifications

• Experience in one or more of the following technologies: .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web services / WCF, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, CSS, IIS or SQL 
• Knowledge/experience in API design and implementation (SOAP/REST) a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
• Understanding of testing, building and deploying applications
• Familiarity with current development methodologies such as Agile, Lean, etc.
• Interest in exploring and utilizing new technologies and platforms
