Responsibilities

The Maintenance Renewal Specialist is the expert overlay for all manufacturer maintenance support. This person will be responsible for getting renewal notifications out to the team 90 days in advanced and assisting with strategic renewals, as well as being the point of contact for questions and training for associates.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Cherwell database renewal dashboard. Works directly with Sales Associates and Account Executives to provide renewal information upon request or within 90-day window of expiration date.  Completes first pass quotes directly with vendor and works closely with SAA on strategic support renewals as the expert overlay for vendor maintenance renewals.
  • Assists with order processing and CRM Opportunity management for forecasting.
  • Performs analysis on requirements for each individual vendor’s renewal metrics program to ensure OneNeck is hitting thresholds and achieves maximum rebate on renewal rates. Responsible for opening cases and working with Cisco and team to provide analytics to justify metric adjustments and lifecycle management.
  • Understands and is the subject matter expert on applications internal and external to OneNeck including but not limited to, Cisco, HPE, VMware, Ingram, Citrix or Cherwell, Sell, CRM and Power BI.
  • Main point of contact for inquiries on contracts from customers, sales and OneNeck engineering (contract lookup, serial number coverage inquiry, renewal status, contract downloads for customers, etc.) and issues resolution in a timely manner.
  • Works directly with Vendors to secure best pricing and accuracy of contracts for end user.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in a sales support role, working with sales reps, vendors, and business customers
  • Strong understanding of Cisco maintenance support, included their Saas offering. Other manufacturers, including HPE, HPI and VMware are preferred, but not required.
