Overview

OneNeck, a national IT Hybrid Solutions provider, has an exciting new opportunity for a Microsoft Sales Specialist.

 

We are open to filling this position in or near any of our physical office locations (Des Moines / Urbandale, IA; Omaha, NE; Eden Prairie / Minneapolis, MN; Madison, WI; Scottsdale, AZ or Denver, CO) and for the right candidate remote work is an option in the continental U.S. Travel to company locations and/or client sites will be necessary, and frequency will depend on “home office” location. 

Responsibilities

The Microsoft Sales Specialist is responsible for selling products and services to the key executives and staff at target companies.  These sales efforts will focus on Microsoft Azure, M365 and related OneNeck Services.  The Microsoft Sales Specialist will work with current Account Executives to drive sales and attain/grow existing client accounts.  This position will also be responsible for a pursuit of new clients within the geographic territory and/or account lists as defined by leadership. Contributions expected to include support of the business unit and effective collaboration within the entire organization to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree -OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 5+ years hands-on IT experience with cloud solutions and architecture.
  • 5+ years of sales, sales support, business development or pre-sales experience? (must include some prior experience selling technology products, services and/or application development solutions)
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate.

  • Proven track record of successfully selling professional services and managed services around Microsoft.
  • Well-developed communication skills. Ability to build credibility and communicate with all key company functions both internally and externally.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to build excellent peer relationships to produce inter-departmental results.
  • Ability to conceptualize, organize, and execute new initiatives.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Energetic, with a competitive spirit and a results-driven, goal-oriented attitude.
