OneNeck IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Network Engineer III to lead complex projects and provide advanced level technical network planning, implementation, configuration, support and troubleshooting services on product lines or service groups we sponsor. 

We are open to filling this position in, or near, any of our office locations: Scottsdale, AZ; Denver, CO; Omaha, NE; Eden Prairie, MN; Madison, WI or Des Moines, IA and for the right candidate REMOTE work is an option.

The Network Engineer III is responsible for providing network implementation, support, and troubleshooting services. This position maintains consistent contact with customers to ensure that services conform to requirements. The Network Engineer III provides a broad range of services in the assessment of customer’s digital network architecture including Routing and Switching, Security, and Wireless technologies. This position also engages with other divisional engineer resources to provide appropriate resolution for our customers and requires in-depth knowledge of the customer’s infrastructure and configurations.

Note: This position may be hired at the Network Engineer III or IV level based on the skills / experiences and business needs. Requirements for each are stated below.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the implementation and integration of products and services.
• Perform intermediate to complex troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
• Develop and document client solutions and related procedures for installation and processes focused on solutions such as Cisco SDA, routing, Catalyst and NXOS switching, wireless, firewalls, Cisco ISE, etc.
• Seek and recommend alternative processes to improve service delivery to the customer in a cost-effective way.
• Develop documentation that produces complete system requirements or specifications as appropriate
• Effectively consult with customers on IT strategy, technology solutions and improvements to their IT infrastructure or services using ONITS solutions.
• Create presentations and present solution proposals to technical and executive audiences. Provide some mentoring to more junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

Network Engineer III

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or 4+ years professional work experience
• 5+ years’ relevant technology related experience in supporting complex Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Availability to consult, assist, and/or perform after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations
• Some travel will be required and the frequency will depend on where you live and client location(s)

Network Engineer IV

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or 4+ years professional work experience
• 7+ years’ relevant technology related experience in supporting complex Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions
• 2+ years experience deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, designing Cisco DNA solutions
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Availability to consult, assist, and/or perform after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations
• Some travel will be required and the frequency will depend on where you live and client location(s)

 Other Qualifications:

• One or more industry standard certifications a strong plus (CCNA, CCIE, CCDP, CCNP etc.)
• Python Scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
• Knowledge of industry cybersecurity frameworks (such as CIS Top 20, NIST 800-171)
• Sharp technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communications, and professional demeanor.
• Passionate toward new and existing technologies.
• Positive, resourceful, creative and detail oriented.
• Ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature and where considerable judgement and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolution
• Ability to provide technical direction in a timely fashion, utilizing standard methodologies that satisfy customer requirements
