The Project Associate is responsible for the support of the project management office to ensure all project administration tasks are completed in accordance with internal process and customer requirements. This position supports the coordination of activities related to implementation of the customer’s information systems and applications, and is responsible for supporting all project execution and administration tasks from initiation to close in addition to maintaining weekly and monthly reporting requirements.

• Supports the project management office to ensure all project administration tasks are completed in accordance with customer and internal processes and governance.
• Supports resource planning activities to ensure quality of services delivery on projects, and effective support of the operational policies and procedures.
• Participates and contributes as an active member of the Project Execution Team in the execution of plans to meet the short, medium and long-term project objectives.
• For selected projects, works under the direction of the program or project manager to ensure project deliverables are delivered in accordance with quality, timeline, resource and budget requirements.
• Ensures that all the daily, weekly and monthly support activities required delivering on customer project schedules and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
• Escalates any deficiencies identified to the appropriate in-house escalation point.
• Effectively supports the planning and tracking of multiple projects, resource planning and allocation, task delegation to accomplish project goals and objectives, ensuring timely resolution of issues, using escalation as necessary, creation of ongoing status and evaluation reports, and reporting on team member performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+years professional work experience.
• 1 + years of IT project related experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Steps taken towards education or certifications in Project Management (PMP, APMC, ITIL, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop/present project status reports.
• Superior organization and time management skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
