  • Overview

    The Account Manager is primarily responsible with assisting in the management of a single, large corporate account relationship, including their nationally dispersed subsidiaries primarily located in the Dallas Metro area.  This position acts as a local contact and helps manage relationships in cooperation with the primary assigned Sr. Account Executive.  The Account Manager assists with identifying new projects and opportunities around hardware and related products, software, and services to this corporate account and its subsidiaries. This position also supports the primary Sr. Account Executive, the business unit(s) and effectively collaborates with the entire organization to achieve organizational goals.


    • With guidance and supervision; assist with the management and maintenance of a single, large corporate client and its nationwide subsidiaries, including relationship building at multiple levels to ensure on-going support of the customer’s product and service needs.
    • With guidance and supervision; develop strategic sales pursuit plans of new targeted hardware and related products, software, and services opportunities. Conduct professional networking and facilitate/attend client meetings. Pursue new customer subsidiary relationships to achieve projected revenue growth. Gather prospective subsidiary opportunity requirements and participate in technical solution design.
    • Develop professional presentations, correspondence, and responses to client’s request for proposals. Create and articulate well-structured sales proposals for potential and existing customer needs and desires.
    • Maintain sales CRM database of client’s prospective opportunities. Adhere to defined sales processes and procedures.
    • Attend trade shows and follow-up on direct marketing activities as necessary.
    • Remain current on industry trends, along with new products and services.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree -OR- 4+ years professional experience.
    • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance.
    • Travel as required by business need.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Previous sales experience preferred; experience selling technology products (hardware, software), services and /or complex technical solutions a strong plus.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
    • Curiosity and excellent problem solving skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Interest in technology.
    • Self-directed and self-motivated.
    • Energetic, with a competitive spirit and a results-driven, goal-oriented attitude.
    • Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
    • Team player with high integrity and ethical behavior.
