The Engineer III – Networking & Security provides advanced network implementation, support and troubleshooting services related to Cisco network and security technologies.  This position maintains constant contact with customers to ensure that services conform to requirements. 

The Engineer III – Networking & Security position also provides a broad range of services in the assessment of customer's network and security infrastructure requirements. Services provided include in-depth knowledge of the customer’s infrastructure and configurations and requires engaging with other divisional engineer resources to provide the appropriate resolution for our customers.

**Please note:  We can hire this position as ENGINEER III or IV.  Requirements for each position are listed in the qualifications section. We will assess applicants based on skills set and years of relevant experiences.**

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and support of Cisco routing, switching, security and wireless technologies.
• Research and engineer technology based upon functionality requirements.
• Implement tactical plans to meet the timelines and to ensure minimal disruption to the Customer environment.
• Assist with development of documentation for standards requirements within the department.
• Create documentation for both internal use and customer deliverables. Produce complete system requirements and/or specifications as appropriate.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in technology (i.e. attend conferences or training, complete vendor provided trainings, review/study technical journals).

COLLABORATION ENGINEER III

• Bachelor’s degree -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
• 5+ years experience supporting complex Cisco security and routing/switching networks.
• Cisco CCNA certified or willingness to pursue certification within one year of employment; CCNP or CCIE a strong plus.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
• Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after-hours support, including onsite, and participate in on-call rotations.

COLLABORATION ENGINEER IV

• Bachelor’s degree -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
• 7+ years experience supporting complex Cisco security and routing/switching networks.
• Cisco CCIE certified or willingness to pursue certification within one year of employment.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
• Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after-hours support, including onsite, and participate in on-call rotations.

Other Qualifications:

• Data center Routing and Switching experience.
• Knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Cisco Security (ISE) technology design experience a plus.
• Cisco FTD configuration and deployment experience a plus.
• SD-WAN design experiences a plus.
• Cisco Network programmability (ACI) a plus.
• Python scripting knowledge a plus.
• Skilled in using Visio and other network documentation software.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Complex network concepts and implementations
• Ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature and where considerable judgment and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolution.
• Project Coordination experience is a benefit.
• Ability to provide technical direction in a timely fashion, utilizing standard methodologies that satisfy customer requirements.
