Then consider joining OneNeck IT Solutions, a TDS company, as a Project Manager.  We are open to filling this position in any of our physical office locations (Eden Prairie, MN; Madison, WI; Denver, CO; Cedar Rapids or Des Moines, IA or Scottsdale, AZ) and for the right candidate remotely in the continental U.S.


    The Project Manager is responsible for managing one or more technical projects either in-house or on-site at the customer location.  Project Manager consults with the customers on IT direction, and leads projects involving implementations and/or upgrades of colocation and managed services.  On occasion, after hours work for certain projects or clients may be necessary.

    • Manage resources and activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget while delighting our customers. Identify project risks and set timelines to meet customer expectations. Communicate project status and reporting to customers and OneNeck stakeholders.
    • Lead and meet with project team to review scope of work and create project plan. Schedule recurring internal and customer facing meetings as needed during project implementation to review and monitor project goals and status. Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Facilities groups to ensure an accurate and efficient process. Oversee project staffing in a matrix environment including project budget, change control, hours, and billing.
    • Maintain documents critical to project implementation. Track project implementation and provide status updates using MS Project.
    • Identify changes to initial SOW and work with customer and OneNeck operations to implement proper change management processes. Integrate customer’s business requirements into OneNeck’s operational framework.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years professional work experience.
    • 3+ years IT project management experience.
    • 5+ years direct customer service experience.
    • Based on location and per business needs, 25% travel may be necessary.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Project Management Certification (4PM, PMP etc.) and/or ITIL Certification preferred.
    • Proven experience developing project scopes and objectives as well as team member roles and responsibility.
    • Demonstrated planning skills and a proven ability to lead teams in a multi-project environment.
    • Experience managing scheduling and budgets preferred.
    • Ability to establish customer trust and confidence.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
