    The Oracle Database Administrator is expected to perform routine, repeatable and documented administration tasks for at least one version of their application on multiple OS platforms (for multiple customers).  These duties focus on monitoring activities as well as performing other documented duties.  


    • Monitor system and respond to alerts.
    • Perform regular application administrative maintenance tasks.
    • Incident Management; processing, troubleshooting and resolving customer requests and problems.
    • Available to provide 24X7 system support.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Associates degree (or higher) -or- 2+ years professional work experience.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Strong inter-personal and communication skills. 
    • General understanding of system architecture and important processes.
    • General understanding of user administration
    • Knowledge of at least one OS, including commands needed to navigate to various logs or to processes.
    • Ability to understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to understand and follow established procedures
