    OneNeck IT Solutions is seeking top talent for an experienced and talented Wireless Network Engineer II/III to provide advanced network implementation, support and troubleshooting services related to Cisco Wireless technologies in our Plano,TX location.


    The Wireless Network Engineer II/III position provides network implementation, support and troubleshooting services.  Maintain constant contact with customer staff to ensure that services conform to customer requirements.  Provide a broad range of services in the assessment of customer's data network infrastructure requirements; including Cisco's Data Center products.  Engage with other divisional engineer resources to provide the appropriate resolution for our customers. Services include in-depth knowledge of the customer’s infrastructure and configurations. 


    Note:  This position may be hired at the Wireless Network Engineer II or Wireless Network Engineer III  level given the skills/experience of the candidate and business need.

    • Implementation and support of Cisco voice technologies, including UCM, Unity, Unity Connections, UCCX, MeetingPlace, and Webex
    • Research and engineer technology based upon capacity or functionality requirements. Implement tactical plans to meet the timelines and to ensure minimal disruption to the Customer environment. Assist with development of documentation for standards requirements within the department.
    • Provide accurate, clear, concise documentation and assistance to others within the department when required.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Associates degree or higher or 2+ years of professional work experience.
    • 2 years supporting complex Cisco wireless network
    • Cisco Certification: CCNA within 1 year of employment.
    • Valid Driver’s License, insurance and reliable transportation required.
    • Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Other Cisco Certifications: CCDP, CCVP, CSSIP, CCNP – preferred.
    • Routing and Switching Background.
    • End-to-end QOS knowledge across a Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure.
    • Security technologies.
    • IPT WAN design experiences a plus.
    • Skilled in using Visio and other network documentation software.
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
    • Complex network concepts and implementations
    • Ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature and where considerable judgment and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolution.
    • Project Coordination experience is a benefit.
    • Ability to provide technical direction in a timely fashion, utilizing standard.
