The Sr AX Application Developer is part of the Business Applications team and is responsible for software design and development in AX and other OneNeck IT Solutions critical business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Working in AX 2012 and D365 OF develop customizations and interface to other applications.
  • Take minimal design specifications and complete projects with consistent quality.
  • Develop and maintain effective automated unit test coverage of new and existing code.
  • Work with stakeholders to determine needs and documenting the requirements of new and existing features.
  • Design and build analytical reports using several different reporting platforms (SSRS/BI) while keeping a consistent UX environment.
  • Create and maintain documentation for systems development an associated process support.
  • Act as a mentor to Jr. level development resources.
  • Act as an escalation point for Incident Management related to support applications.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in .NET, C#, X++ programming, exposure in HTML, XML.
  • 2+ years experience with SQL server, SQL scripting skills and SSRS/SSIS.
  • 2+ years experience customizing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012/D365 FO.

Other Qualifications

  • BI tool experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Full understanding of SDLC and working with Collaborative Teams.
  • Experience of developing system integrations.
  • Working in a source control system like TFS or GIT.
  • Familiarity with current development methodologies such as Agile, Lean, etc.
  • Experience in API design and implementation (SOAP/REST).
